“Wow. Just Wow Jenni.”
Those were the words spoken after a recent 1-to-1 with a VIP client during a deep session working on her high-vibrational copy and messaging.
Those words mean you and your client are a perfect soul-mate match. That your gifts and genius don’t just match their expectations but wildly surpass them. They let you know you’re doing a good job and are in total alignment with the noble aim of delivering gobsmackingly outstanding service.
The Wow Factor is what coaches, service providers, and all of you beautiful people guides need as much as water. Dropping all meh-marketing-speak about visibility and all that stand-out-and-attract-millions rhetoric, you know where you are with a Wow or two (dozen).
Wow is the opposite of bland and forgettable.
It’s the reaction people have when they encounter you and your work in the world when you’re genuinely showing up as your highest self.
It’s the epitome of all things’ issima’.
Remember the principle: “People won’t remember what you said, but they will remember how you made them feel”. That comes from wow-ing them. Wow is an emotion, and people buy on emotion.
In this online content and information world where so much is bland and homogenous, you cannot afford NOT to ‘wow’ people.
Wow gets people talking. It gets you referrals. It gets you invited on podcasts and stages.
You don’t just want a pretty brand; you want “Just Wow!”
Let’s look at how you can nudge your Wow factor up the scale wherever you are.
Beauty –
Don’t panic; I’m not talking about make-up and superficial trappings of image (that’s for another blog, lol!) Beauty is an energetic vibration based on sacred geometry that humans (potential clients are humans!) are highly sensitive to!
Because we function with our senses, Beauty can make an immediate Wow impact. Whether it is the impactful harmony of the shades of colour on a website, a gloriously harmonious presentation, stunning brand or social media photos, beautiful copy in an email, or a beautiful message and mission, we can all leverage Beauty in our communication.
Why does that matter for our marketing, branding, and vibe? Beauty that follows universal fractal principles sends us a signal urging us to keep paying attention. It’s an emotional reminder that there’s something here worth figuring out. Beauty can capture your clients’ attention and hold it. You don’t have to master the science of fractals – but bringing the virtue of beauty to your client attraction system will speed up.
Message Impact –
It goes without saying that not only must your message reach your ideal clients, but it also has to reach into their hearts. A wow-filled message will reach their hearts and their desire to get to know you better and give you their time, attention, email address and eventually some money. Articulating and communicating their message (to get leads and enrol) is one of the hardest things for an entrepreneur. To have a wow factor, your message must sound different from anyone else’s and promise something nobody else offers!
Value –
Delivering value above and beyond what it says in the contract will surely wow your audience. There is this thing called ‘over-giving’ going around at the moment. And an aversion to doing it.
Every influencer I have had the privilege of knowing and working with gives the most incredible value. It’s a mark that you care, that your generosity matches your brilliance. You will never lose out by over-delivering.
High value, wow-factor service and personal care are prerequisites to help you stand head, shoulders and the rest of you above your competition. If you overgive with wow-standard value, people will take notice. They will also buy again.
Overdeliver – give them something they weren’t expecting. It might cost you $30 or $100, but gifting those who invest in you sends a message to money that you are grateful for the money coming in. A free ebook, a coupon or a slightly longer consultation than is booked on your scheduler is always noticed and appreciated.
Q to take action on: How can you overdeliver without resenting it or selling yourself
short?
Integrity – be impeccable to your word and your promises to your audience. If you can’t fulfil those promises, be human and tell them why. (Life happens in the middle of the best-laid plans!) Relationships are your entrepreneur’s currency; your wow status can’t survive without this. In true soul-mate, client-mentoring, there is no hierarchy. You may be further along the entrepreneurial path than they are, but that does not make you a better person. And you have shit days just like they do. Be authentic; people can see right through BS. It’s shoddy.
I’ve encountered several BS-ing gurus, and I now smile and remind myself that the universe knows what they’re up to.
A solid Know Like and Trust reputation is the holy grail of a sustainable and scalable business.
Respond quickly –
In the website builder, I use to design my client’s sites, the support team is lightning speed responsive. Like sitting in the chat, standing by for you to reach out to them. They usually respond within an hour. Unbelievable support service – what a difference it makes to my life having experienced help on hand 5 inches from my mouse!
If you respond slowly to prospects’ questions and queries, you are not wowing your customers and actively losing them.
Speed is relative, of course. A slow response via chat might still seem super speedy via email. Analyse your answers’ speed for each channel and set a goal based on where you are currently.
But don’t do it to get more results but because people are wowed by speedy attention.
Even though we’re all weary of social media pressure, it’s one of our main marketing channels, so speed is of the essence to capture that precious attention.
Make things easy –
Glory, this is a tough one in this techie-nuts time. But since our clients feel as overwhelmed as we are by the complexity of things, taking the time to facilitate the customer journey will allow you to be exceptional and paid! Make it easy for both of you. Make it easy for you (your business model and customer journey), or you’ll grow to hate it. You’ll shine out in your genius zone when it’s easy for you. In fact, that’s WHY you should spend a maximum amount of time sharing your genius because it’s easy for you!
Get to know your audience; however, it feels good to you. Learn about their interests and what they care about in business. You can then use that to custom-design their experience to wow them. Knowing a customer means knowing their pain points and what you can recommend to address them. If you come from a place of service and help them resolve all of their problem areas in one fell swoop, you’ll earn a customer for life. That’s a wow kind of business!
Check-in with them when they’re not expecting it –
Show your audience appreciation as often as possible: in a podcast introduction, a YouTube presentation, at the start and end of emails and masterclasses, just because.
In particular, if a customer leaves a positive review, that’s a great reason to say thank you, and it’s an excellent opportunity to build an even deeper relationship.
And that leads to the most important one:
Express gratitude –
It’s not because you’re the expert and it’s expected they should pay you for your gifts, that you shouldn’t show them that you are grateful.
How can you make your audience and clients feel genuinely appreciated and special?
I surprise them with over-delivering to express my gratitude. I also check in if I haven’t heard from them or if I know they’re going through something difficult. When my peeps take the time to reply to an email, I reply as soon as possible to express thanks for the feedback.
Wowing your customers in all the above ways creates deeper loyalty and delight. It promotes meaningful relationships for years to come. When you add that gorgeous Trinity of Beauty, Power of Messaging together with Value, you cannot fail to wow them.
Showing up as your issima self will wow wonders everywhere.
A Divine Brand is a brand that wows.
Living by your own code of greatness will create a life that wows.
There is no separation between you and your business.
The wow factor is the difference between living your issima life – or being under-potentialised.
When your lovely head hits the pillow at night, wouldn’t it be amazing to feel wow-type awe at the wins in your day?
Wouldn’t it be amazing to contemplate a wow balance in your bank account?
Wouldn’t it be fabulous to take on your day in a vibe of ‘wow!’ in the morning?
That’s a million $ issima answer…
Just wow.
